Dear all. In light of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak we want to outline what we’re doing here at Draycott in what is a continually changing and challenging environment.
Anyone who has spent any time with us will know what a close knit team we are. From our owners to the management team to the mechanics we are all a family and treat each other and you, our customers, as such.
Our primary objective in the coming days and weeks is to ensure that all employees and customers are safeguarded at all times, as well as supporting you and your loved ones by keeping vehicles on the road.
Our telephones will be manned as normal and our workshops will remain open to ensure that we keep essential vehicles moving. Please be assured if you have a vehicle booked into our workshops for repairs, servicing or MOT it is business as usual.
We are all part of the Didcot community and have long term and close relationships with many of our customers. We are here for everyone in the community during this difficult time. If you have car issues but are worried about leaving your home we will happily come and collect your car or come and fix it on your driveway if possible. If you have an urgent need for groceries we will deliver some to you if we can. If you are isolated and just need to chat we are here for you.
For our customers who are happy to drop vehicles to us but have concerns about human contact please feel free to place your keys in an envelope and post them through our letterbox.
Our mechanics will all be wearing gloves, which will be changed regularly, and all keys, car doors and steering wheels will be disinfected prior to collection / returning your vehicle. Payments can be made over the phone and we can leave your keys in a safe place for collection if required.
We are in uncharted territory and the situation seems to be evolving daily and we will update you further with any changes in due course. If you have any specific questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
From us all we wish you and your loved ones good health and love.
